Summary
The Tissuescope Autoloader System is a medical diagnostic imaging tool ideal for high-throughput scanning of sample slides of varying sizes.
Our Contribution
From the earliest stages of conceptualization CADmech guided the product’s aesthetics and defined the user experience. Upon selecting a design direction, detail development of the entire aluminum enclosure was completed. Several access doors for manual intervention and sample loading were defined and included in the design. During this detailed design phase CADmech worked closely with local vendors and eventually sourced and supported the production build of this system.
Working with the customer’s design lead, CADmech supported many of the mechanical aspects of the autoloader including mechanisms and motion studies (carousel, power and different subsystems integration, packaging).
