µ Chair (Mu Chair)

Summary
The “µ” chair started as a pure aesthetical exercise, but while developing it, some innovative ideas showed up: why not a spherical wheel, instead of the regular swivel one? Why not having knob-like adjustments in the immediate reach of the hand, without having to search under the seat for bulky handles? And why not making it super-light, sleek but tough in the same time? This is how we envisioned the use of carbon fiber for the body. What if we would use a special mesh instead of the regular foam? So this is how we envisioned its particular string adjustment, running underneath the mesh.
Since tight tolerances are expected for this futuristic chair, the name came almost immediately (µ spelled “mu” is the Greek alphabet letter that is renowned for any micro dimensional field).
It might be just a matter of time until this chair could come to life.
