Summary
Our extensive product design experience gives us an added advantage when designing automation equipment. Our knowledge of design intent and ability to read and understand GD&T from part drawings aids in our success of developing effective automation solutions. Working with a leading automation supplier to major OEM’s, CADmech supported the development of several test and verification stations for a Chrysler minivan rear seating assembly line. These unique stations included part presence verification utilizing over 50 probes and a seat track force tester which moved the seat from locked position through a full range of motion while monitoring force efforts. CADmech supported the project through development and final build.
