Summary
Our client, a leading supplier in the automotive industry, turned to CADmech to develop a new enclosure to mount their next generation battery technology. Working closely with the customer CADmech aided in defining the project’s functional goals and with a tight schedule, CADmech delivered this design ready to hit the production floor on time and without manufacturability issues. Design challenges encountered included the design of a new fastening method integrated within the product’s injection molding process.
