In these uncertain times, it is important for everyone to do their part and work together to contain the spread of this virus and protect those at risk. CADmech Design’s priority is to keep our employees and everyone around us safe by following national and regional guidelines while staying committed to our partners and clients.
To ensure the health and safety of all our employees and clients, secured VPN connections were setup mid-March to allow our employees to work from home, safely. This means that not only can current projects be maintained on schedule, but new projects can also begin and progress without interruption. All our employees are also complying to avoid non-essential travel outside of their home to do their part in flattening the curve. Travel for work has been greatly reduced and only short essential trips are permitted using proper protective gear (gloves, masks and sanitizer).
As an engineering firm, CADmech recognizes its potential to offer our services to help battle COVID-19.
We have already offered our services to the federal government and have been working with a well-known public transport authority in the Ontario area, providing our services in engineering design to address the concern of keeping some of their workers safe from the virus.
Along with our design services, CADmech also has a vast supply chain and the ability to sub-contract and lend a hand in the manufacturing process with capabilities such as: 3D printing plastics/metals, CNC machining, metal casting, assembly and many more. When we are called upon, our vast supplier chain will be instrumental in creating vital technologies aimed at helping stop the virus and save Canadian lives.
