Where are we based from?
Our team is headquartered in our Toronto office; however, we are always expanding and have office space in Vancouver, British Columbia. Regardless of your location, our engineers, designers and support staff can work on-site at client locations, work from our own office while visiting clients’ sites, or work from our own office connected via VPN to our clients’ servers.
Who is in our engineering team?
Our engineering team is a carefully built group of individuals who specialize in fields such as: mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing, electrical, software and other disciplines. 40% of our staff holds higher education (M. A. Sc., M. Eng. And PhD), we’ve employed 4 FEA and 1 CFD analyst(s), and 7 of our designers hold P. Eng. certifications. Such an effective team allows CADmech to accomplish over 65,000 hours of engineering & design each year. We constantly aim to grow our team and introduce new talent to increase that number.
How long have we been in business and who do we work with?
Since being founded in 1994, CADmech has provided engineering design services to a wide range of clients. We create comprehensive design solutions for a plethora of industries such as: automotive, aerospace, medical, robotics, industrial automation, consumer, military and transportation.
What is our CAD software and technical expertise?
We consider ourselves CAD agnostic/neutral and mainly utilize: SolidWorks, NX Catia, and ProE – we have also completed projects in Inventor, AutoCAD, and Solid Edge. We utilize Cosmos and Nastran for analysis. We work with whatever software fits our client’s needs.
What are our ethical and environmental standards?
We hold ourselves to the highest ethical and environmental standards. We take diversity and inclusivity very seriously at CADmech, making sure that no one ever feels left out and unheard. We truly cherish the diverse background we have at CADmech, as everyone brings something unique to the table, overall bettering all our work. We always make sure, through our designs and materials used, to lower our carbon footprint as much as possible. From participating in Earth Day/Hour, to being conscious of sorting our recyclables, to working on projects designed to lower emissions, we do what we can to better the world we live in.

To contact us to collaborate or present a design opportunity to us, simply visit our contact page on our website. Include your name, email, and message, and we will respond to your message as soon as possible! If looking for a quote, we can quote a fixed price for a well-defined scope of work at an incredibly competitive rate. We can work time and material based on a budgetary effort/scope. Hourly rates are based on the type of work required.
What certifications do we have?
We currently hold a CGP (controlled product goods) certification and are an ISO 9001-2015 certification. We are always looking to earn more certifications to prove the quality of our work.
How do we develop our XR solutions?
Depending on the problem at hand, our XR experts will utilize various software development kits (SDKs) to provide your business with the best XR solution. Common tools like Vuforia, ARCore, ARKit, and Leap Motion are second nature to us. Our experts also use engines such as Unity, Unreal, Lens Studio, and Spark AR Studio combined with various scripting languages like C#, C++, and JavaScript to bring the best XR experiences to life.
What sorts of innovation are we working on?
We are always looking to innovate, whether its in our process, technology, or a sector we are working with. Our latest new field we chose to tackle is the XR space, as we feel we can provide a lot of value to the industry with our XR solutions. We are also heavily innovating in AI, 5G, IoT, and blockchain technology to revolutionize our field into Industry 4.0.

What is XR?
Extended reality is the overarching term referring to all streams of new immersive technology. Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Realities all fall under the extended reality umbrella. When we say we create XR solutions, it means we create digital solutions utilizing the stream of XR best suited towards you and your project.
