John Kourtoff is the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer at Purus Power Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Purus Power Corporation. John is globally known in the renewables sector and energy policy, and brings a wealth of corporate, financial and energy research acumen to Purus Power. He has an extensive background in finance, renewable energy policy, energy development. John was Canada’s sole Low Carbon Economy delegate at the G8 in Siracusa, Italy and has represented and/or been a guest speaker in London, Berlin, Washington and many other cities around the world. John initiated Purus Power Corporation, and is one of the two inventors of its patented deep-tech. His present role is to drive Purus Power’s research, advanced materials integration and technology application activities.

Benoit Chouinard, eng. is president of the industrial engineering firm Progima. He has spent more than 20 years in operational performance with a wide variety of manufacturing companies in Ontario and Quebec. He specializes in continuous improvement, specifically helping companies and executives implement day-to-day management systems and efficiency improvement projects. The Progima firm he leads is recognized as one of the largest group of industrial engineering experts in Canada.
Rob Hong is the co-founder and CEO of Sapling Financial Consultants Inc., a 22-person financial modelling and data analytics consulting firm based out of Toronto. With more than 12 years of professional experience, Rob has assisted not-for-profit and for-profit organizations gain a deep understanding of the impacts of the various options available at key decision-making junctures through cutting edge financial analysis. Before co-founding Sapling, Rob worked as a Senior Manager in Customer Deals at Bell Canada, a Senior Consultant at KPMG, and an Associate Portfolio Manager at Artemis Investment Management.
